Aira is an invite‑only workspace. This policy explains what we collect to run it, what we deliberately don't collect, and how the two are different.
1. What we collect
To operate an account and route messages, calls and files between teammates, we keep the minimum needed to make that work:
- An account identifier and the public keys your device generates on first sign‑in
- Which threads your account belongs to, so messages route to the right place
- Basic connection metadata kept only as long as needed for reliability and abuse prevention
We don't collect a phone number, a real name, or any identity document to create an account. An invite code is the only requirement.
2. End‑to‑end encryption
Message content, call audio and video, and files are encrypted on your device before they're sent. Our servers relay encrypted data between teammates — they can't decrypt it or hand over content they don't have.
3. Data retention
Encrypted message history is kept on our relay only until it's delivered to every teammate's device. Voice, video and screen‑share streams are never recorded or stored.
4. Who we share data with
We don't sell data and don't share it with advertisers — Aira has no ads. We may disclose limited account metadata if legally compelled through a valid process; since content is end‑to‑end encrypted, we have no readable content to disclose.
5. Your rights
You can request a copy of the account metadata we hold, or ask us to delete your account entirely, at any time via the contact below.
